Between 2 and 12 December 2013, the Polish Centre for Accreditation carried out an audit to assess the technical competence of ORLEN Laboratorium with regard to sampling, testing and Quality Management System application.
As a result, the auditors of the Polish Centre for Accreditation confirmed the company’s compliance with the PN-EN ISO/IEC 17025:2005 standards as well as with the accreditation and contractual requirements. The audit confirmed the company’s technical competence, thus entitling it to use the Certificate of Accreditation No. AB 484 as proof of compliance with the PN-EN ISO/IEC 17025:2005 standards.
The auditors also recommended approval for new methods seeking approval to be included in the scope of accreditation covered by the Certificate of Accreditation No. AB 484, and for already accredited methods. The current scope of accreditation for ORLEN Laboratorium includes 319 test and sampling methods. As soon as the accreditation procedure is completed by the Polish Centre for Accreditation (March/April 2014), the new Scope of Accreditation for ORLEN Laboratorium including 323 test and sampling methods will be issued.
