On 3-12 December, ORLEN Laboratorium was approved as a result of an annual audit carried out by the Polish Centre for Accreditation.
The audit was carried out in seven laboratories in Płock, eight regional laboratories and the Company’s headquarters.
Auditors recommended that the scope of the Company’s accreditation should be extended to include all the requested methods and the methods accredited so far should be maintained. As a result of this positive assessment the Scope of Accreditation of ORLEN Laboratorium AB 484 was extended to include 28 new methods for testing water, waste water and biofuels, including 11 own methods for testing terephthalic acid (PTA) in the Regional Laboratory in Włocławek.
The current scope of the accreditation certificate held by ORLEN Laboratorium includes about 320 testing and sampling methods. The Company continues to expand the accreditation scope in response to customers’ needs and changing market requirements which are monitored by the Company on an ongoing basis.
Accreditation serves the purpose of building and strengthening prestige and reliability - in the case of ORLEN Laboratorium – of analysis results, certified services, qualifications of certified employees as well as certified management systems. Successful accreditation shows that the Company provides reliable and accurate analysis results and objectively testifies to its compliance with the best practices in this field.
